iMS Access Services played a key role in the proactive maintenance at Meridian Tower. The work involved the design and installation of a bespoke monorail system unique to the towers overhang. Our highly trained rope access technicians installed the NP01 Monorail System to replace the previously worn system. A non-destructive magnetic particle inspection (MPI) was carried out on all existing support bracket welds to ensure the harsh weather of the Bristol Channel has not caused any damage.
Using rope access techniques our technicians were tasked with maintaining the striking white appearance of the Meridian Tower all year round, the proactive maintenance at meridian tower has involved iMS Access Services removing existing rainwater pipes, bends and hoppers, non-performing extractor ducts, vents and cowlings and replacing them with bespoke powder coated aluminium fittings to match the existing façade.
