Xtrac Transmission Technology
Project completed: August 2018
As a world leader in innovative transmission technologies, Xtrac is driving ahead with a significant investment in a large additional factory at their HQ in Thatcham, UK, increasing the size from 88,000 sq. ft to 115,000 sq. ft to house the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with new machines and manufacturing technologies.
iMS Access Services played a vital role at the new Xtrac factory in Thatcham, iMS had 12 weeks to design and fabricate and install an external staircase including all tread plates, stringers & steel support legs plus a balustrade and handrail system, all fully galvanised to withstand the elements.
iMS Access Services carried out the design and installed a platform system for access over the parapet leading towards a counterbalanced cat ladder provided by JOMY for access & egress.
